Well, it's official folks! Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson have just confirmed their romance, and honestly, we should have known from all the not-so-subtle hints they continued to drop about their relationship.
The former Love Islander turned documentary maker, Zara, was pictured with Louis on Tuesday (15 April) holding hands as they headed into a lunch date at Soho Beach House in Malibu.
The pictures, where they seem loved up and relaxed together, confirmed many fan theories that the pair are now dating following Zara's breakup with Sam Thompson at the end of last year, after five years together.

The Instagram follows
Back in early March this year, rumours began to circulate the two had started dating. They both began following each other on Instagram and on 1 March Louis liked a post on Zara's Instagram of her BRITs look.
A dinner date
On 17 March, The Sun shared a number of photographs of the pair attending a dinner at a hotel in Suffolk.
It was reported by a source, "Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special.”
The Stereophonics gig photos
On 8 April the pair soft-launched their relationship on Instagram when they both shared near identical photos from a gig, where they watched the Stereophonics.

Zara shares a picture of Louis' tattoo
The very next day, Zara shared a picture of a delicious breakfast she was having. However, fans didn't care about her poached eggs. Oh no, they were focusing on the not-so-subtle appearance of one of Louis' tattoos, a cross, in the top left hand corner.

The Malibu pictures
On 16 April we finally got the first pictures of the pair properly together, which essentially confirmed their relationship.
The two were pictured heading into Soho Beach House in Malibu for a lunch together, looking loved up and holding hands.
