Celebrity Big Brother contestant Mickey Rourke has been removed from the show over "unacceptable behaviour".
On Saturday (12 April), ITV confirmed the film star had agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house due to "further use of inappropriate language" and "instances of unacceptable behaviour".
According to ITV, Mickey used behaviour and language considered to be threatening and aggressive towards fellow housemate Chris Hughes, however no physical altercation took place between them.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, a spokesperson for the ITV show said: "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house this evening [Saturday 12 April] following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour."
The decision to remove Mickey from the hit reality show comes just hours after he was saved from eviction – with Conservative politician Michael Fabricant being booted out by the public first – and days after he received a formal warning for comments made towards JoJo Siwa.
During the interaction with JoJo, which aired early last week, Mickey asked her if she liked boys or girls, later telling her: "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay any more."
"I can guarantee I'll still be gay and I'll still be in a very happy relationship," JoJo replied.
Shortly afterward, while speaking to Chris and Jack P Shepherd, Mickey said he would "vote the lesbian out real quick". He then said, "I need a fag," before gesturing to the Dance Moms star and adding: "I'm not talking to you."
To that, Love Island's Chris reprimanded the movie star, before Mickey said: "I know. I was talking about a cigarette."
Following the incident, Mickey was called to the diary room where Big Brother reminded him of the house rules and issued a formal warning. "I apologise," he said in response. "I don't have dishonourable intentions – I'm just talking smack, you know. I wasn't taking it all so serious. I didn't mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry."
Speaking to JoJo later on, Mickey said: "I want to apologise. I've got a habit of having a short fuse. And I don't mean nothing by it." In response, JoJo said she appreciated his apology.
