It's not out of the ordinary for a Married at First Sight Australia couple swap to take place after the show wraps filming. Last year it was Evelyn and Duncan, and now this year it appears we may have a new couple swap on our hands, as it seems fans are theorising Awhina and Billy are now dating after a recent TikTok.

Over the weekend the pair were both spotted in a TikTok together, while doing a video for teeth whitening brand Whiteology. In the video the pair were close and both sharing their teeth up close to camera. Watch the TikTok here:

The pair's closeness has lead to fans spamming the TikTok with comments asking if they're together. With many people commenting messages like: "I hope they are dating they look good together", and "always thought they'd be a better couple 🥰."

So what's the deal with these two? Well on Married at First Sight Australia, Billy was paired up with Sierah, and Awhina with Adrian. Both of their marriages got off to strong starts, however things quickly deteriorated, and Awhina and Billy were brought together when it was revealed Sierah had gone on a secret dinner with Adrian.

Sierah and Adrian clarified that it was only a friend dinner, but it caused cracks in both relationships. And soon after Billy and Sierah left the experiment.

Awhina, however, has stayed on until the end of the experiment. She and Adrian have had a lot of ups and downs and ultimately made it to the final vows, in which they agreed to carry on their relationship in the real world.

However, it appears things may be over for Adrian and Awhina. The series was filmed at the end of last year and as per the rules of the show, the contestants can't reveal their current relationship statues until all the episodes have aired.

But, at the end of February Billy and Awhina, who are both based in Perth, were spotted cuddling up while on a beach walk together, including one picture which showed them holding hands. However, at the time Awhina denied there was anything romantic to it, and insisted the pair are just friends, telling the Daily Mail Australia: "Billy's a WA guy. We have built a friendship. He happened to be at my birthday, but it is a purely platonic friendship."

Prior to these photographs being released Awhina had praised Billy in an interview. She told Women's Day in early February, Billy would be "a great catch for anyone. His future wife would be a very lucky lady.”

The series has just broadcast the final vow ceremonies in Australia, with the reunion episodes scheduled to come out soon after. Following their release, the couples are allowed to give updates on their relationships.
