** Contains spoilers on Married At First Sight Australia season 12 **
Season 12 of Married At First Sight Australia is well underway over on E4.
So far we've seen the first set of couples exchange vows, with two contestants being matched with their exes and one bride previously dating a groom from another season.
As well as this, a total of three couples have already bowed out of the experiment, with Katie and Tim calling it quits at the first Commitment Ceremony and Ashleigh and Jake exiting shortly after.
Both couples lasted longer than Lauren Hall and Eliot Donavan, however. The couple who were one of the first to say "I do" didn't even make it to the first dinner party together.
After just a couple of days together, Eliot, 35, walked out on Lauren, 37, telling the experts that they hadn't given him what he wanted - someone younger, "preferably someone under 30" or a "cute librarian-like girl". Instead, he feels the experts matched him with "what felt like a Kardashian sister".
Now, the experts are giving both Eliot and Lauren another chance at finding love, with their weddings set to air on Wednesday 26th March.
In the episode, Lauren is matched with Clint Rice, a 43-year-old pro-golfer, while Eliot marries 32-year-old actress Veronica.
So, was it second time lucky for Lauren?
Read on for everything we know.
What has happened for Lauren and Clint on MAFS AU so far?
As the series premiered in Australia in January, a lot has already happened in the experiment.
Lauren and Clint got married in episode 16 and given that it was her second marriage on the show, naturally Lauren was a little skeptical of the whole process. And she made no secret of this on the day.
"Putting my life on hold for what turned out to be Eliot was just a disappointment," she said, before adding: "I mean, everyone wants to find love. I hope it's second time lucky."
Clint on the other hand was thrilled to meet his new wife.
During the vows, Lauren took the opportunity to tell Clint about her failed marriage to Eliot, admitting she was "skeptical" when she received the call to return to the experiment.
She ended on a more positive note, saying: "After countless conversations with them and deep reflection, I remembered why I embarked on this journey in the first place, to find someone who shares the same desire to build a life together and embark on a new adventure as partners."
Despite her reservations, Lauren began to soften up, saying: "I have like a slight, tiny, minute glimmer of hope."
Things looked good for the couple as they attended the first dinner party together, during which Lauren came face-to-face with her ex again.
"It was really fun to walk back in with Clint. I was actually proud to walk in with him and I wouldn't have been so proud to walk in with Eliot," she said.
Are Lauren and Clint from MAFS Australia still together?
Unfortunately not. The pair left the experiment after the Couple's Retreat.
While things appeared to be going well for the duo, cracks began to show. As they were late to the experiment, the couple had to catch up on some of the tasks the other contestants had already completed, including the photo ranking task. While they both put each other in first place, Clint revealed that he found Jacqui, who is married to Ryan, attractive - and this didn't go down well with Lauren.
"I've learned that he likes scruffy women who have a strong drive in career," she said to the camera.
She then admitted that she doesn't think Clint is "alpha" enough for her as he gets spray tans and shaves his chest.
The couple later joined the others at the Couple's Retreat, but Lauren had no interest in spending time with the others, saying: "Awhina's going to be screaming, her nylon hair extensions are going to be blowing in the wind...Adrian's probably going to be attempting to speak."
And after arguing with Jamie during the girls' meet up, Lauren stormed off, calling the group "feral" and "wild animals" before adding: "The bogans just keep boganing with their boganic ways."
The couple then skipped the next dinner party and revealed that they'd be leaving at the Commitment Ceremony.
At the time of their exit, they spoke about continuing their friendship on the outside with the possibility of it blossoming into something else.
However, it wasn't meant to be, as Clint is now in a relationship with Jacqui. The pair started dating after filming ended in November 2024 and now live together in Tasmani.
Married At First Sight Australia airs on E4 Monday to Thursday.
