Adolescence is Stephen Graham's new crime drama for Netflix.
Starring Graham, Ashley Walters, Christine Tremarco, and more, the four-part drama sees 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) accused of murdering his schoolmate, a girl named Katie.
The show is filmed in an impressive and unique one-shot technique, fully captivating the viewer as we move through each moment with the actors.
"I think what the one-shot does is makes you sit up, and you can’t take your eyes off it because if you do blink for a second, you miss something," the show's director, Philip Barantini, told Radio Times.
Adolescence was filmed in 2024, with most of the show being filmed on set. However, some of the episodes were shot on location.

Where is Netflix's Adolescence filmed?
Adolescence was filmed at Production Park, which is a studio facility in South Kirby, West Yorkshire.
According to the production site website, the cast and crew spent six months there, with filming taking place between July and September last year.
The show was shot on the park’s newest stage, Studio 005. The stage is usually reserved for arena tour productions and has been previously used by the likes of Beyoncé, Coldplay and Pink.
"We were pleased to host the crew and cast from Adolescence through the summer months. Hosting such a large-scale, prestigious drama at Production Park shows how versatile we can be in supporting a wide range of clients, and we are very much open to any similar scale productions in the future," Lee Brooks, CEO of Production Park said.
Mark Herbert, joint CEO of production company WARP Films, said: "The series posed a major challenge for us with the one-shot element so we needed a studio space that could match our technical needs but also provide a home for the crew and actors during the whole process."
Herbert continued: "We loved working at Production Park and it was a great space to build our sets, and the day to day working atmosphere was fantastic, I will certainly film there again. And its mad it's in an old mining community not too far from where I grew up and just up the road from WARP Films HQ in Sheffield."
The Miller family house is not a real house and was a set built on Production Park, while the school scenes were filmed in a school in Sheffield.
Some of the show’s outdoor shots were filmed in South Elmsall, Wakefield, just a half an hour drive from Production Park. Other outdoor scenes were actually filmed in London.
Adolescence is available to stream on Netflix.
