Our favourite chaotic reality TV series, Married at First Sight Australia has officially returned to UK screens, and honestly we could not be happier to have another group of married couples from down under back in our lives.
While the series began airing in Australia a few weeks ago, it's only just debuted here in the UK on 3 March. And as part of the first episode we were introduced to couple Carina and Paul, who, while strangers to viewers, actually already knew each other before they met on their wedding day.
Usually in Married at First Sight, the couples are matched together by experts and meet for the first time at the altar before tying the knot. But not for Paul and Carina who had previously dated each other. So are they still together now? Here's what we know.

What's happened with Carina and Paul on MAFS Australia so far?
Carina and Paul appeared in the very first episode of this season of Married at First Sight Australia. And while it appears on paper they would be great for each other, Carina asked at the wedding if she could get a different groom, as it turns out the two had already dated each other.
It was then revealed they had met on a dating app eight months ago before going on a hiking date and Paul then ghosted Carina. Paul then apologised to Carina's parents during the wedding to say he wasn't in the right headspace to date when they had first met.
After this initial awkward start the couple did continue on in the experiment. And in fact things went very well for the pair during their honeymoon, where they took things up a level in their relationship, And their relationship just carries on going from strength to strength as the experiment progresses.
However, in week four everything changes after Paul punches a wall following Carina's revelation she had previously been intimate with a rapper.
Paul later apologised for his outburst, telling Nine: "I completely lost control that day. It's obviously, of course, unacceptable behaviour. It's not something you do, that's not how you deal with emotions and it's not how I deal with my emotions."
He continued: "I had to talk to someone on the outside, a professional, to actually talk about it and find some sort of peace as I was so mad and angry at myself for reacting that way.
"It was also sending the wrong message to Carina. I didn't want her to feel unsafe. That's the last thing that I would want."
When it came to their time on the couch with the experts, Mel, Alessandra and John all called out Paul's behaviour, with John suggesting Paul should be kicked out of the experiment.
Ultimately Nine agreed to allow Paul to continue to stay in the process, but caveated that they will be working to support Paul and Carina during the experiment.
Are Carina and Paul from MAFS Australia still together?
As per the rules of the experiment couples cannot reveal their relationship status until all episodes of the series have aired. So right now it appears Paul and Carina are still together.
