Does this mean Zendaya and Tom Holland engaged? According to all the sources, YES! The day following the award ceremony, TMZ's report claimed Tom proposed “between Christmas and New Year’s [Eve]” in what they describe as “very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States.”
They continued, "Tom didn’t make a huge show of the engagement. It was very romantic and intimate. [They] haven’t started planning their wedding yet." Considering it was less than 10 days ago, give them a break!
Another source told People that "everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening" and that Tom wanted to propose to Zendaya "for a while."
Back in April, Zendaya opened up to Vogue about her relationship with Tom, praising him for how he handled fame post Spider-Man: "We were both very, very young, but my career was already kind of going, and his changed overnight," she said.
"One day, you're a kid and you're at the pub with your friends, and then the next day, you're Spider-Man. I definitely watched his life kind of change in front of him. But he handled it really beautifully."
And over the summer, a source told Us Weekly that Tom and Zendaya "are the real deal" and that "their relationship is rock solid" because they "started as besties."
