It's official: Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are PR professionals. Despite being linked together romantically since 2023, the pair have done an incredible job at keeping their relationship private, something which the Wonka and Dune actor has just proven once again.
During an appearance at the Palm Springs International Film Awards this weekend — where he received the Chairman Award for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown — Timothée was asked by Entertainment Tonight how it felt to have Kylie there to support him.
"You have a lot of supporters in here," the journalist asked. "I know you also brought your partner in crime, Kylie, here, too. What's it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?"
To that, Timothée gave a very wordy response, but there were several words he didn't mention: Kylie, partner, girlfriend etc.
"It's a great feeling to be in a room with so much love and so many great peers, and people that are fantastic," he said. "I like seeing the new wave and the new generation here," the 29-year-old continued. "I also like seeing everyone who's been holding it down [for] decades plus."
His expert diversion away from chatter about his relationship did not go unnoticed by fans, with many taking to social media to comment on it. "PR training come through!" one person said on Reddit of Timothée's response, as someone else wrote: "I love how interviews keep trying to ask Kylie and Timothée about each other, looking for tea, and they pay those questions absolute dust."
With the whole of Hollywood gearing up for tonight's (5 January) Golden Globe Awards — the same ceremony at which Timothée and Kylie went public with their romance last year — could we expect a glimpse of the couple together on the red carpet? Or, at the very least, a mention of each other? Guess we'll have to wait and see...
