If you're in the mood for a mystery, you need to watch Missing You on Netflix. Not only is the latest Harlan Coben TV series full of confusing and misleading plot points, but viewers are also quite confused to see the likes of GK Barry and Matt Willis in the cast. What is going on?

ICYMI, the streaming service dropped the five-part series on New Year's Day (1st January) to cure our January blues. The series follows detective Kat Donovan, who is shocked to discover her ex-fiancé Josh on a dating app, 11 years after he disappeared without a trace.

While trying to figure out why he's got back in touch after so long, Kat is also looking into two missing persons cases, and living in the shadow of her father's death from years earlier. Sounds good, huh?

The first time we meet Kat (played by Rosalind Eleazar from Slow Horses), she's actually on a date with none other than Matt Willis. Or, er, a character played by Matt Willis, anyway.

Speaking about working alongside the Busted bassist, Rosalind told the Mirror, "That was quite a spectacular day on set. All the makeup women were like, 'Oh my god! It's Matt from Busted.'"

She continued, "He's such a lovely man and he's so funny in that scene. He's so good and he was a real treat to work with."

So far, Matt hasn't spoken out about the cameo, but could this be the start of a new career for him?

Missing You is now streaming on Netflix.
