Tommy Fury has opened up about his break-up from fiancée Molly-Mae Hague in a new interview. The 25-year-old, who has been doing press ahead of his book release, Lightning Can Strike Twice, shared that he wanted to "resolve things" with Molly.

The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, were together for five-and-a-half years before announcing their shock split this August. During their time together, Molly gave birth to their daughter, Bambi, in January 2023, and six months later, Tommy proposed to her while the family were holidaying in Ibiza.

Speaking to MailOnline, Tommy made it clear the relationship didn't come to an end because of the cheating allegations that had been flying around. He said: "The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words."

He then stressed that "what the public thinks is going on, isn't what is going on," and that the split was "not something [he] envisaged happening." However, he did admit that it "didn't come out of nowhere."

Tommy added: "The only people who know what is going on in our relationship is between me and Molly."

When asked about his and Molly's relationship, Tommy didn't hesitate to say that what the pair had was "proper love." Confessing that he still "100%" loves Molly, and "will love her until [his] final breath," Tommy admitted that the mother of his daughter is the "woman of [his] dreams."

Tommy concluded his speech declaring that he knows what he has to do "in order to resolve things."

"That's down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me."
