Well, as Deadline explain, in order to be eligible for the 2024 Emmys, a show must air at least six episodes in the year prior to 31st May, 2024. Bridgerton season 3 part 1 was released on 16th May, but it was only four episodes, while Bridgerton season 3 part 2 came on 13th June, and was four additional episodes.

So, why were Penelope Featherington and Anthony Bridgerton present this time round? Well, actress Nicola was presenting an award at the ceremony, while Jonathan was up for the Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie award, for his role in Fellow Travelers.
