What songs are being covered in Bridgerton season 3 part 1?

On 13th May, the official Netflix account shared a post on X where they revealed the songs we heard in part one of the new series, and they are as follows:

Episode 1

  • 'abcdefu' - Gayle

Episode 2

  • 'Dynamite' - BTS
  • 'Jealous' - Nick Jonas

Episode 3

  • 'Cheap Thrills' - Sia
  • 'Happier Than Ever' - Billie Eilish

Episode 4

  • 'Snow on The Beach' - Taylor Swift and Lana
  • 'Give Me Everything' - Pitbull

Sorry, but Taylor, Lana and Billie? We're going to be emotional wrecks by the end of the season.

Previously the majority of pop covers have appeared in ball scenes, for this season, music supervisor Justin Kamps told Tudum he was able to incorporate these covers into moments that aren't just ball scenes.

"We have a lot of covers that aren’t necessarily part of ball sequences this year, and it’s because we found some cute places to insert something that can play as a fun cover [but] doesn’t necessarily have to be attached to a dance sequence," he explained.

As for the inclusion of Pitbull? Well Kamps calls the song 'Give Me Everything' a "banger" (he's not wrong) and explains, "It’s a little bit outside of the sound of the covers we normally hear. It almost leans further into a pop sound, slightly, just because the original song is such a banger pop track.”

Can we just fast forward to 13th June, please?
