Calling all Wednesday stans! Good news, because Netflix are reportedly looking to expand the universe of the hit series with a spin-off revolving around none other than the iconic Uncle Fester, played by Fred Armisen.
While Fred guest-starred in just one episode of the hit series starring Jenna Ortega (season two next, please!), he's now said to be bringing more of the Addams Family to screen by starring in his own show.

Is Wednesday’s Uncle Fester getting a spin-off series?
According to Bloomberg, the outlet that first reported the news, the Uncle Fester-based show isn't set in stone just yet but is in its early stages of development.
Per Bloomberg, "As with any TV show in development, there is no guarantee the Uncle Fester show will ever happen. The writers have to figure out the story, the company needs to negotiate contracts with talent, and the schedules of the individuals must align.
"But Netflix is eager to establish a pipeline of Addams Family programs to build off the success of Wednesday." Exciting!
Plus, Wednesday creators Al Gough and Miles Millar had already expressed their interest in developing spin-off ideas even before season one even dropped.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, they said, "When you create a world like this, the intention is any one of these characters could be the lead in their own show... It’s certainly something we’ve discussed and would very much like to, in success, really branch out this world beyond just Wednesday." So, keep your fingers crossed!
