Stella is found not guilty
In court, Stella's father, Adam, provides a fake alibi for this daughter and her best friend Amina comes to the stand to say that Christoffer had drugged and assaulted her on the night of his death.
This takes the spotlight away from Stella, who is eventually found not guilty of the murder of Christoffer to which she is relieved and embraces her mum, dad and Amina.
Stella killed Christoffer
In the final scene, Stella is travelling in a different country when she comes across a church. Here, she lights a candle and has a flashback to the night of Christoffer's death.
We learn that Christoffer had become increasingly controlling of her throughout their relationship and on that fateful night, she walked in on Christoffer assaulting Amina.
Stella hit him over the head, to which her and Amina escaped but Christoffer pursued them, knife in hand. Soon, he fell over and accidentally dropped the weapon, to which Stella picked it up and stabbed him to death. So, she was the killer all along!
