Calvin Harris and Vick Hope's relationship goes back as far as the noughties. In an interview with The Standard, Hope revealed that when she was 19, she rejected a 24-year-old Calvin's advances.
"It's something that we laughed about on our first proper date. We still laugh about it now," she said.
Since then, the DJ, who previously dated Taylor Swift, and Hope have kept their lives pretty private, marrying in an initimate Ibiza Glastonbury-themed wedding in September 2023.

2007 - Vick turns down Calvin when he asks her for a date
In an interview with You Magazine in January, Vick revealed Calvin actually asked her out for the first time when 'Acceptable in the '80s' came out in 2007, but she rejected him. "It's something that we laughed about on our first proper date," she revealed. "We still laugh about it now."
2018 - Vick jokes about rejecting Calvin again
During a chat on Capital FM's Breakfast Show in 2018, Vick opened up about the time Calvin asked her out again. Host Roman Kemp joked, "Calvin Harris has had one of the best glow ups that I've ever seen" to which Vick replied, "Why are you asking me this? You know how I feel about this. Look at you looking at me."
Roman then revealed, "Calvin Harris asked Vick out on a date when he did 'Acceptable in the 80s'," to which Vick then admitted, "Oh my god. I can't believeā¦ he looked how he used to look, I was shallow.
"I was 19, and I said no and I went off with either Scouting for Girls, or The Wombats. I don't know which. I thought they were going to be bigger but no, it turns out Calvin Harris was going to turn into an Adonis."
January 2022 - The pair are romantically linked for the first time
Almost 15 years after Vick first rejected Calvin, a report from The Sun revealed they had been dating for "months", with fans speculating that meant they got together in January.
"Vick has been dating Calvin for a few months and they are very happy together, the insider said. "She has been talking to her friends about him but has wanted to keep it quiet until now. Those who know them think they make a lovely couple."
May 2022 - Calvin and Vick are hit by engagement rumours
Vick and Calvin are photographed for the first time as a couple, at the Chelsea Flower Show. Fans can't help but notice the impressively large ring on her engagement finger, sparking rumours that Calvin has proposed.
A source tells The Sun that Calvin proposed to Vick at his farm in Ibiza, adding, "Although it is a stunning ring and extremely expensive, the couple arenāt going for a flashy or expensive wedding.
"The extravagance of the rock will eclipse how much theyāre going to spend on the big day itself as they want to keep it low key and simple with just a core of close friends and family present."
August 2022 - Vick says she's the "happiest" she's ever been
While the radio presenter didn't address Calvin by name ā or the engagement rumours ā she revealed to Waitroseās Weekend magazine, "Iām the happiest Iāve ever been."
"It sounds so gushing, but Iāve worked out what makes me happy," she continued. "It just takes time ā itās about getting older, and surrounding yourself with the right people and the right things... and to just try to have fun. Life is too short."
October 2022 - Vick opens up about their engagement for the first time
In an interview with HELLO!, Vick was asked whether they had a wedding date in mind. "You know what, I was very overwhelmed by the interest in it but I'm keeping my private life private," she replied. "I've never really experienced 'this' before about my private life, but it's just for us."
January 2023 - Vick opens up about why they keep their relationship quiet
"Thereās a difference between secrecy and privacy," she told You magazine, before adding of the proposal that a "very precious thing has happened. It wasā¦ perfect."
Expanding on their desire to keep things under wraps, Vick continued, "We don't really put anything on social media because the time we have together is 'real life' and it's our own. For the first time in a long time, I'm finishing work and going home to a life that is just mine. I'm learning to find balance and peace.
"We both have very busy work schedules: I'll join him when I can and then I come back for my work."
July 2023 - Vick shares a sneaky photo with Calvin in Ibiza
In amongst a cheeky photo dump of snaps from BBC Radio 1's Ibiza Weekender, Vick shared a photo alongside fiancƩ Calvin (go to slide three to have a look!)

September 2023 - Calvin and Vick tie the knot
Congratulations are in order for the happy couple, as Calvin and Vick have got married.
The pair tied the knot in a lavish, Glastonbury-themed wedding on 9 September, according to reports, with celebrity guests including Big Brother host AJ Odudu and BBC radio DJs Vernon Kay and Scott Mills.
Nile Rodgers and Chic are even said to have flown in from the US to perform at the ceremony, and we couldn't be happier for the couple!
July 2024 - Vick gushes about Calvin in Cosmo UK interview
Vick Hope graced the cover of our summer issue last year and had nothing, but sweet things to say about her hubby.
Speaking about the public interest in her relationship with Harris, she said: "There is a lot of attention and neither of us want it. I donāt know if itās something that some people do want or if itās normal in some situations.
"I just donāt understand it because we both have made it so clear that weāre not courting it at all. We just try to ignore it and get on with it. I think thereās something about my relationship that feels so sacred... itās protection. Weāre protecting ourselves, protecting our energy."
On her wedding day, she continued: "Everyone says itās the best day of your life and I was always a bit like 'yeah, yeah', but then... and that's all I'll say on that," she smiled.
In terms of what she's most proud of, she said: "My relationships: with my brothers, parents, friends, husband."
March 2024 - Vick and Calvin attend BRIT Awards together
The pair were pictured on the red carpet at the Brit Awards looking super loved-up. Vick wore a gorgeous backless dress, while Calvin looked smart in an open shirt and brown pants.
