It's been two summers since we last saw the gang of Cousins Beach The Summer I Turned Pretty and now it's finally been confirmed we'll be seeing Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah and Steven one final time this July. Oh and there's a brand new teaser trailer too.
The teen drama – based on Jenny Han's book trilogy – follows Belly Conklin, who spends every summer at her family friend's beach house. But, the last few summers have been tricky as Belly found has herself in a love triangle with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah.
The third and (weeps) final season is due to drop on our screens in July, so while we wait of those new episodes to arrive, here's everything you need to know about the third season.

Is there a teaser for The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3
Big YES! On the 24 April, Prime Video shared the first teaser trailer for the new series, which was iconically soundtracked to not one, but two Taylor Swift songs. Honestly, we are being treated.
The teaser showcases Belly being loved up with Jeremiah (sorry Conrad girlies) in a long montage of many scenes together, and then ends with Conrad turning up at the door. OMG!

When did they film The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3?
In May last year, the official account for the Prime Video show shared on X (formerly known as Twitter): "We’re officially rolling on #TheSummerITurnedPretty Season 3. 11 episodes coming your way. see you in Cousins in 2025"
This was a slight delay from what Gavin Casalegno, who plays Jeremiah, told Entertainment Tonight, "I think we’re filming in March. I have zero idea of a script. I don’t even know. It could even be, like, filming in October or July. I’m just going off rumours."
When was The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 confirmed?
On 3rd August 2023, while season two was still in full swing, it was announced that The Summer I Turned Pretty was being renewed for season three. That’s right, we’re spending another summer with Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah and the rest of the cast - and we can’t wait.
Taking to her TikTok account to share the exciting news, author of the books Jenny Han shared a clip of main cast members Lola Tung, Sean Kaufman, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno on set of season two.
She captioned the funny clip: “Surprise! There’ll be another summer. We’ll be back for season 3 as soon as we’re able.” Bring on season three!
Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon, added in a statement: "We’ve been delighted to see the passion with which fans have embraced The Summer I Turned Pretty, making Summer Fridays an entertainment phenomenon.

What will season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty be about?
*Spoilers* The end of season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty sees Conrad catching Belly and Jeremiah kissing, before the trio have to spend the night together in a motel because of a storm. Season one ended with Belly and Conrad kissing, so it's safe to say her feelings are a bit all over the place.
For season three, while the adaptation has made a few changes from the original plot, we can look to Jenny Han's third novel in the series to see if there any clues about the plot. The synopsis for the third novel We'll Always Have Summer is as follows:
"One girl. Two boys. The biggest decision of her life...
"Just when Isabel thinks she had everything mapped out, life proves that when it comes to love, you can never have all the answers...
"Isabel has only ever loved two boys, Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. She's grown up with them, and can't imagine life without them. One broke her heart, the other made her happier than she ever thought she'd be. But each brother is keeping a secret from Isabel, and this summer she must choose between the Fisher boys, once and for all. Which brother will it be?"
If we're going from the plot of the book it seems a third (and potentially final) season would see Belly decide who she really wants to be with.
What have The Summer I Turned Pretty cast said about season 3?
Lola Tung, who plays Belly, explained they were hoping to follow the book pretty closely, telling PEOPLE, "There's a blueprint of a book, which we've been lucky to have for two seasons now, just such a solid blueprint for us."
Gavin Casalegno, who plays Jeremiah, added, "I know Jenny is really just strong on staying as true to the books as possible and hitting the main points."
