Love Island's Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook announce split

In news that possibly everyone who watched the Love Island Reunion saw coming, Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook have announced their split.

The pair, who weren't actually an official or exclusive couple when they left the Love Island villa, have revealed they've decided to just be friends following a fairly awkward conversation with Maya Jama at the Reunion.

In it, Casey explained they hadn't yet gone on their first date after leaving the villa, but instead had been spending quality time with friends and family. "It’s all a little bit overwhelming when you come back," he said at the time. "We’ve got a date on Tuesday, so just looking forward to that."

Now, on the said Tuesday, Casey has actually revealed on social media that the pair are going their separate ways, as oppose to on a date. Savage!

In an Instagram Q&A someone asked Casey how things are going with Rosie and he said: “Rosie and I have spoken…she’s such a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward.”

So far, Rosie hasn't commented on their break up, but here's to hoping both Casey and Rosie are doing OK, and the future looks bright for their separate paths!
