Did you catch last night's episode of Love Island? Well, the reality show was hit with another editing blunder when Tanya Manhenga appeared to have suddenly changed back into an outfit that she had been seen wearing earlier in Tuesday night's episode, seemingly out of nowhere.
Her denim outfit – that she had been wearing around twenty minutes earlier – was apparently back on again and fans were quick to point out the bizarre change.
And given that she had been wearing a dress the rest of the evening, it was a pretty blatant switch, that it would have been hard for viewers to miss.
This isn’t the first time that fans have noticed an editing mistake in this series. From bizarre glitches in the very first episode where the entire screen would go black and the audio would cut out mid-scene, to contestants moving around during a conversation while sitting down.
And that’s just the half of it. There was the time, all in the exact same episode, when Shaq Muhammad was ironing Tanya’s dress and then in the next moment she was wearing it in Casa Amor – before the suitcases had even been delivered.
We also saw Shaq go from being undressed, to dressed, to undressed again, highlighting that the shots had clearly been taken out of order and then clipped together differently to showcase certain reactions.
And finally we had the girls leaving the villa at night, then arriving at Casa Amor in the daytime, before showing them getting ready for the night again.
Let’s just say, we’re so confused!
It also has many fans of the show accusing it of being far too staged this year.
In last night's episode, it was a big night for Tanya, after she had declared her love for Shaq the previous night. While Martin let Olivia and Maxwell know exactly how he felt after Tanya’s admission, he also called Tanya out at the firepit, saying, “when I was speaking to you, you never told me you were a liar. You’re not sincere, you made me look like I was dumb, you’re a liar.”
Elsewhere in the episode, the couples played an always entertaining game of Knowing Me, Knowing You, with Shaq taking up the role of host.
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm
