Love Island has been back on our screens for a week now, and so far we've seen a fight break out amongst the lads as well as an are-they-aren't-they feud brewing between two of the girls. But, one thing – or should we say person – we haven't seen, is bombshell Ellie Spence.
Yep, cast your minds back to last week when viewers were asked to vote who would be the first bombshell to enter the villa – the options being Ellie or Tom Clare. From that vote, it was Tom who came out victorious, heading into the villa and coupling up with Olivia Hawkins before moving onto Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown. Since then, we've seen three more bombshells enter the villa but, notably, no Ellie.
"What happened to that Ellie who was an option for a bombshell? I would [have] thought she went in next," one Love Island viewer asked on Twitter, with someone else writing: "Sorry what happened to Ellie the bombshell?????"
"Wasn’t Ellie supposed to be a bombshell? Is she still in duty free??" a third fan questioned.
Despite there having been no mention on Ellie making an appearance on the show any time soon, her social media accounts are yet to be reactivated, suggesting that she's still in the running. As we know, a new rule means that Islanders must now keep their accounts dormant while appearing on the hit ITV show, so perhaps Ellie is just enjoying the South African sunshine as she waits to make her debut...
