The Traitors on BBC has sparked a LOT of questions among fans, but the one on everyone's lips right now: Are Alex and Tom still together?
If you'd told us a few weeks ago that we'd be obsessed with BBC's The Traitors, we probably wouldn't have believed you. But it turns out the new game show, which challenges contestants called 'Faithfuls' to sniff out the 'Traitors' in a bid to win a massive cash prize, is all we can think about.
Not least because contestants Tom and Alex made a surprise admission to their fellow participants, when they revealed they were a couple. Tom, a 24-year-old magician from Buckinghamshire, was eliminated from the show last week, and recently opened up about his relationship with presenter Alex, 26.
"Everyone’s mentioned that!" Tom told Radio Times when asked about their relationship. "She’s getting so many DMs from so many guys! There’s been a DM that was like, ‘Ah, you and Matt are such a better couple than you and Tom,’ and it actually gives me so much clarity that people at home actually have no idea about us. It makes me a bit happier that they’re saying this.
"But non-stop, everyone’s asking, ‘Are you still together? Are you still together?’ And we are – but we always have been. We’ve gone through worse."
He also responded to claims that Matt has been flirting with Alex on the show, adding, "
But yeah it was entertaining. It was quite funny. Although it’s been edited like she says that she flirts, watch it – she never flirts. She’s literally being her lovely self but the thing is, Matt is on it straightaway. Bless him. I was always fine."
Fair enough.
