Congratulations are in order for the new king and queen of the Love Island villa, after Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were announced as the worthy winners of 2022's series.
After a rocky journey in the Love Island villa (more about that later), Laura Whitmore revealed 27-year-old actor Ekin and business owner Davide, also 27, were the worthy winners during the live final.
The pair coupled up early on in their journey, but after she shared a kiss with Jay Younger on the balcony, things took a downward turn. Eventually, after a challenging Casa Amor, the couple found their way back to each other, saying 'I love you' (or 'Ti amo' in Italian, if you will) and going exclusive on the show.
