Love Island's Jake and Liberty split in tonight's episode, reports say

Love Island's Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole split in tonight's episode [19 August], reports say.

According to MailOnline, the pair, who have been having problems in the villa for over a week, decide to go their separate ways.

After viewers saw Liberty crying over their compatibility in the teaser, she apparently tells Jake "I just don't feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me."

Jake then asks, "What are we saying then, are we saying we'll go our separate ways then?" while Liberty takes the bracelet off that he gave her and plays with it in her hands.

The report claims Liberty also says, "I don't think we are right for each other", despite the pair being the only original couple still together from day one. Uh oh.

Previously, Love Island fans had praised Lib for her genuine attitude to their relationship, and for pulling up on their problems just days before the final.

One wrote, "This how you can tell Liberty is genuine. You see most of us (including me) will be holding in those doubts until 2 days after the final and potential £50k."

Another put, "The preview for tomorrow shows how genuine Liberty is. Who else would doubt their relationship days before the final" and "The way Liberty is honouring her actual feelings just days away from the final. This is a genuine dame looking for LOVE GODDAMN [sic]."

Whatever happens for Jake and Liberty, we hope they're both OK.
