Little Mix nailed it in the Radio 1 Live Lounge yesterday [15 September 2020], but Jesy Nelson has since taken to Instagram to tell fans about her panic attack.
As well as playing an acoustic version of their latest single 'Holiday', Jesy and her Little Mix bandmates - Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - covered 'Falling' by Harry Styles.
But Jesy has since taken to Instagram to admit her nerves led her to have a panic attack before the performance, meaning Perrie had to step in and cover her part. "So my nerves got the better of me today and I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for Live Lounge today," Jesy wrote to her 7 million followers.
"And like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it 😇 this is what we originally did in rehearsals ❤️"
Fans flooded the comments with messages of support for Jesy, with one writing, "Everyone has those moments but sharing them is what makes you so inspiring🙏" Another said, "It shows again how incredibly strong you are!!"
Someone else said, "I hope you are okay now love ❤️" while a fourth wrote, "That’s what band mates are for ay 🔥"
As the comments say, kudos to Jesy for opening up about her experience which will no doubt help other people in similar positions. And hey, we thought the performance was killer anyway.
