Love Island viewers were forced to look away from their screens last night after Amber and Greg’s final date on a catamaran prompted a lot of fans to feel second-hand seasickness.
The couple were fully blessed with the best date on the ITV2 show as the pair boarded the luxury yacht, sipped on champagne, and shared a cute (and romantic) conversation about how their connection has only gone from strength to strength.
"When we first met, I had an instant connection and that is something that I never get," Amber said. "I felt it straight away and I was just hoping you felt the same [...] I wouldn't want to be on this date with anyone else."
Despite plenty of people already declaring them their Love Island 2019 winners, others had major personal issues with the way the boat was rocking on the water.
One of the many comments read: “Feeling sea sick watching Amber and Greg’s date I’m such a sensitive child,” as someone else added: “That boat is rocking so much it’s making me feel sea sick.”
The good news is that Amber and Greg clearly have stomachs made of steel, with the 21-year-old telling the girls: “Out of all the dates I've been on, that was the best one, definitely by far. We were just lying like this, just having a nice chilled chat.
"You know what he's like, Irish people, they're so charming. I can't help myself. I really didn't think I would meet anyone like him, I was just saying to him that I'm so glad I stuck it out and I met him."
Next time, can we have some kind of seasickness trigger warning so we can have a scopolamine patch pre-prepared?
