Now, fans are convinced the pair knew each other before the show started.

Eagle-eyed Instagram stalkers have come up with an interesting, yet very tenuous, conspiracy theory explaining why they might have met before Love Island.

Both Adam and Rosie posted pictures featuring the same Gucci bag to their Instagram accounts before entering the villa.

Lawyer Rosie posted a snap of herself with the bag in April, while fitness guru Adam posted a picture with the same bag in the background in May.

One fan commented on Rosie's shot, "This bag look familiar."

Someone commented on Adam's pic, "have a snoop round insta ( Rosie) and tell me who’s bag this is."

Another wrote, "Look on Rosie’s insta she has the same bag."

The clever spot has got Twitter talking, with one fan writing, "Feel like Adam and Rosie knew each other before and have planned to go in this together to win the money. It’s all a bit too suspect for my liking."

But another Twitter user has denied that the bag belongs to Rosie, revealing it was actually his ex Claudia Proctor's bag.
