There’s a few components that have now become essential to an episode of Love Island 2017.
A subtle Blazin' Squad name drop, a romantic mention of the word ‘graft', a quick stir of the pot from Amber… But nothing’s quite as important as a shot of Kem Cetinay’s long, voluminous hair blowing in the infinity pool breeze.
Which is why Love Island fans have been left REELING at the news that the villa's resident Rapunzel hasn't always been blessed with those lusciously long curls. Are you sure you're ready to see this? Here's the Kem we all know and love:
And here's the Kem before he discovered deep conditioner and scalp follicle stimulation.
If you've fallen in love with Kem's magnificent head of hair over the past week or so and found yourself knee deep in his old Instagram photos, then you're definitely not alone.
On a quick stalking sesh of his pre-villa social media, super sleuth viewers discovered that Kem with much shorter hair is equally (if not actually significantly hotter) than Kem with long curly hair.
Either way, he basically looks like a different human with the short back and sides. Consider us shook.
The shorter cut makes him look a lot more typically Love Island-esque and a lot less like Aladdin in Ibiza. Personal preference for whichever you prefer, of course.
In other Kem-related news, things seriously kicked off on last night's show thanks to his current other half, Amber.
Having coupled up with Kem on Friday's show, Amber instantly wound him up by hinting that Chris had been flirting with her behind his back, and when Chris completely denied the goss, Kem was left wondering who to believe.
Hmm, a fresh haircut might help?
