Married At First Sight's Rebecca Fenney, best known as Bec, has shared a response to the comments she said she's been receiving about her weight fluctuating on the show (real talk: we actually didn't even slightly notice anything about her weight, we were all too busy cheering her and husband Bailey on, and obsessing over how she manages to have such a flawless blow-dry during every single episode?!).
But, it sounds like some viewers have been making remarks to Bec, as she posted on her Instagram Stories: "I've also had many messages about my weight/fitness, so it's probably just easier to address it on here... I put on 1.5 stone during the experiment.
"So yes, I'm noticeably bigger during the final vows than I was during the first wedding. I'm now lighter than I was before the experiment."
She continued on to explain that exercise and keeping fit is an important part of her life, but that the intense filming schedule and being out of her normal routine posed a challenge.
Bec, who is 32, told her followers, "When I came home I didn't feel like myself weight-wise, so I got back to routine and now I'm more comfortable at this size. Training and nutrition has always been a big part of my life, but that went out the window during the show."
Quite rightly, she also added, "This shouldn't have to be addressed, but I've got messages about it and I understand why."
Everyone's clicking on...
The aesthetic nurse practitioner also hinted that there might be more she'd like to say about her body journey in future, capping her post off with, "My weight loss/gain in life is something I may speak about one day."
It's disappointing to hear that Bec has received comments about her weight – nobody should be subjected to that for going on a reality show. Here's hoping she's doing okay and knows how amazing she looks, at any dress size.
