If Lindsay Lohan's quoting Mean Girls, you know it's going to be a good day. Writing on Instagram, the 32-year-old actor shared her first selfie following the birth of her son and it was impossible to miss the famous reference. Lohan, who gave birth to Luai in July, was pictured in her bedroom, snapping the selfie in a pair of grey Friday postpartum underwear.
"Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom. #fridamompartner," she captioned the image.
Celebrities and fans alike rushed to comment with Paris Hilton among the thousands of comments wishing the star their best. "Congratulations 💕" Hilton wrote, racking up 950+ likes alone for her well wishes.
Others praised Lohan for normalising clothes that supported postpartum bodies: "Wish I’d had some comfy stuff like this post c-sections. I was way underprepared for the recovery process," one follower commented.
Some pushed the film's reference further, labelling Lohan not a regular mom but a "cool mom" – the infamous quote taken from Amy Poehler's character, Mrs George, in Mean Girls.
Lohan, who starred in Mean Girls in 2004 alongside actors Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams and Tina Fey, married partner Bader Shammas in 2022, describing married life as "so special".
Everyone's clicking on...
“It’s great. I met my person, and you never know if you’re going to find that in life,” she said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November of last year. “He’s [Bader] an amazing man, I love him and we’re a great team.”
Regular mom, cool mom, postpartum mom – Linds, you're all three. Congratulations to the proud mama!
