Starting with Strictly Come Dancing's Diane Buswell and Joe Sugg, who welcomed their first child in March 2026, we're also taking a look back at the celebrity births gone by, including the likes of Justin and Hailey Bieber and Anne-Marie and Slowthai.
But, as we know, the only thing more exciting than a celeb baby announcement is a celeb baby name reveal – because the rich and famous sure do have a special way of introducing us to the most unique monikers. 2026 - Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg
Strictly Come Dancing stars Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg took to Instagram on March 18 to announce the arrival of their first son – and they also revealed his very unique name.
"Never felt a love like it," the pair wrote, along with a blue heart emoji. "Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg," they said of his name, adding that he was born on 16/03/26.
As for the special meaning behind the little tot's name? Mark is a nod to Dianne's father, who shares the same name, while Richard is a tribute to Joe's late grandfather, who passed away in 2021.
The name Bowden also has a poignant meaning. According to baby name site The Bump, "Bowden is a masculine name with Scandinavian, French, and Anglo-Saxon roots." The site also explains that the name "symbolises security, new beginnings, and ambition."

2025 - Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt
Comedian Pete Davidson has become a dad for the first time, welcoming a baby daughter with his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt. Taking to Instagram to share the news, they said: "Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025."
Announcing their daughter's name, the pair revealed she is called Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson – which has a poignant meaning to it. Scottie is named after Pete's late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died while responding to the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001. Pete was just seven years old when his father passed away.
Elsewhere in the caption, Elsie described Scottie as her "best work yet", and said she is "overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief."
2025 - Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo
The podcasting couple have welcomed their first child together, a little boy named Ziggy! Posting on Instagram, new dad Jamie wrote, "Ziggy, you have our whole hearts 🤍".
Sophie and Jamie spoke openly about the challenges and joys of pregnancy in the run-up to little Ziggy's birth on their NearlyParents podcast, with Sophie even revealing that carrying a baby had caused some of her teeth to "rot" and shared her unique cravings for caviar.
We expect the pair will be just as open about their experiences of parenthood along the way, too!
2025 - Jesy Nelson and Zion Foster
Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has welcomed twins with her partner Zion Foster. Taking to Instagram, Jesy revealed the girls had arrived early (after experiencing twin-to-twin transfusion during pregnancy) but are thankfully both "healthy and fighting strong".
"So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days," she wrote on Instagram. "It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us."
Going on to reveal the girls' adorable names, Jesy said: "Everybody, meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster."
In the comments section, fans and celebrity friends had plenty of well-wishes for Jesy and her partner. "Congrats momma!! Wishing you and Zion the best of health for your babies," one person commented, as another wrote: "I’m so happy for you!!!"
2025 - Amber Heard
Amber Heard is now a mum-of-three! Taking to Instagram, she shared the surprise news that she's welcomed twins – and took the opportunity to reveal their adorable names, too.
"I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years," she said. "Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang."
Going on the announce their names, Amber said: "My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full."
"Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life," she went on. "I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully."
Agnes and Ocean join Amber's four-year-old daughter, Oonagh, whom she welcomed via surrogate.
2025 - Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome
Known for being a couple who keep things low-key and largely out of the spotlight, the Harry Potter star and his Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging actor shared a rare personal update by announcing the birth of their second child: baby Goldie.
In an Instagram post, Rupert wrote, "‘Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ⭐️ A 10/10 baby (so far)" and took a moment to thank the doctor who helped to deliver the wee'un.
In response, Dr Alex Digesu shared a heartfelt comment. "Dear Rupert and Giorgia. Delivering Goldie and Wednesday has been a privilege for me. You are such a wonderful couple and a beautiful family.
"Being your obstetrician and looking after Georgia during both pregnancy has been an enjoyable and unforgettable journey. Impossible to forget you all! Congratulations and a big hug. From the bottom of my heart."

2025 - Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright
TV stars Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright took to Instagram on 13 March to announce the arrival of their first child, a daughter born on 6 March 2025.
Sharing a photo of themselves cradling the newborn (who is wearing the cutest little crotchet 'fit), the first-time parents also announced the little one's name. "Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl 🤍," they wrote, revealing her name to be Palma Elizabeth Wright.

2025 - Montana Brown and Mark O'Connor
Former Love Island star Montana Brown took to Instagram on 18 January to announce the early arrival of her and fiancé Mark O'Connor's second child, a baby girl.
"Look who decided to show up early," she said on her Story alongside a photo of herself and Mark gazing at the newborn wrapped in a towel. "Bigger than expected and a bit of a rollercoaster," she added.
Montana continued: "We're over the moon and taking it all in. But just glad she's healthy and happy."
Montana and Mark already share an 18-month-old son, named Jude.
A few days later, Montana shared a further update with fans and revealed the celebrity-inspired name she's chosen for her new bundle of joy: Miley.
"Miley O'Connor - no surprises you came storming into the world unapologetically and making an entrance," she shared alongside a new photo of little Miley.
Montana also revealed some of the details of Miley's birth, writing, "Miley was breeched my whole pregnancy and she did not turn which meant I had a bit of a task on my hands to try and have my home birth as it was quite difficult to get the support to have a physiological v. birth with her being flexed. Most importantly she’s here safe and sound and we couldn’t be happier 🤍✨"
2024 - Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan
Congrats are in order for TV and TikTok personalities, Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan, who have welcomed their twins!
Taking to Instagram to share their unique names, Francesca wrote: "Poetry Lucia and Locket Romance Sullivan." The reveal comes weeks after Francesca broke the internet with the list of names she and Jesse hadn't chosen, which included Rocket, Stone, Afternoon and Darling.
Speaking more about the birth, Francesca continued, "Our two little angels made a surprise appearance via emergency C-section at 36 weeks and 5 days at 7:31 and 7:33AM on 11/11."
"I’ve never been more in love but I’ve also never had more anxiety. They’re perfect," she added.
20224 - Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber
Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber have just welcomed their first child together! The star announced the big news on social media, taking to Instagram to share the sweetest photo of the newborn's tiny foot wrapped in a teddy bear blanket.
The couple also revealed the name of the infant, introducing him to the world as "Jack Blues Bieber," seemingly a nod to Justin's father Jeremy Jack Bieber. Congrats, guys!
2024 - Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma
Hilary Duff is officially a mum. The star confirmed her happy news with a post on Instagram, where she shared snaps of her baby girl and the adorable name chosen for her: Townes Meadow Bair.
"I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms," wrote Duff in the moving post, which featured pictures of her water birth. But the sweetest photo of all? A pic of the proud mum cradling Townes while kissing her hubby, singer Matthew Koma. Congrats to the happy family!
2024 - Anne-Marie and Slowthai
Singer Anne-Marie and rapper Slowthai welcomed their bundle of joy earlier this year. While the couple have been pretty tight-lipped until now, fans are convinced Anne-Marie just confirmed her baby's name.
In a super sweet Instagram post which saw the singer gush about the past few months - "2024 is my favourite year already. We have a new member of our gang", she wrote - Anne-Marie also shared a picture of a pink cake.
Written on the top in icing? Seven. The news will be little surprise to mega fans as previous reports said the singer took inspiration from her fave number while naming her baby, but that doesn't make Anne-Marie's announcement any less sweet.
2024 - Nara Aziza and Lucky Blue Smith
The model couple have welcomed their third child into the world – who has a name just as unusual as her siblings. "our little angel has arrived! Meet Whimsy Lou Smith 🤍," Nara captioned a post sharing the birth announcement.
Together, Lucky and Nara also have a daughter named Rumble Honey (born October 2020) and a son, Slim Easy (who arrived January 2022). Nara is also a step-parent to Lucky's daughter from a previous relationship, the equally as unique-named Gravity Blue.
2024 - Gal Gadot and Jason Varsano
Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot surprised fans by announcing she had welcomed a baby girl, having kept the pregnancy secret.
The 38-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo of her cradling her newborn bundle of joy, and revealed her little one's cute name.
"You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude," she wrote.
Gadot added the pregnancy was "not easy".
It's the fourth child Gadot shares with her husband Jason Varsano. The couple also share daughters Alma, 12, Maya, six, and Daniella, two.

2024 - Lucy Watson and James Dunmore
Former Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson and her husband James Dunmore just welcomed their "miracle" baby boy.
Sharing the happy news on Instagram, Watson posted a photo of the doting parents and their bundle of joy - before revealing her son's name in another adorable snap.
"Willoughby James Watson-Dunmore, welcome to the world," wrote the proud mum, who has previously helped to shine a light on fertility issues.

2024 - Gemma Styles
And it turns out 2024 is the year full of surprises, with Gemma Styles revealing she welcomed a baby girl earlier this year. The 33-year-old big sister to pop sensation Harry Styles chose to keep her pregnancy private, and revealed news of her little bundle of joy on Instagram.
"Hello from maternity leave! Took some time off to ensure the safe arrival of our baby girl, who is adored by her whole family!" she wrote.
Gemma then acknowledged that the news may be hard for people who are struggling to conceive to hear. "I know that this news can be difficult for many people and I’m sending you lots of love."
2024 - Sienna Miller and Oli Green
Congratulations are in order for Sienna Miller and her boyfriend Oli Green, with the pair spotted out in West London with their newborn daughter.
The couple are yet to officially announce their little one's name, but the pair were photographed in West London with their bouncing bundle of joy in early January.
In an interview from December last year, 41-year-old Miller revealed that her pregnancy was not planned, with Green, 27, with the pair having only been official since summer 2022.
"I was very fortunate," she explained. "I wasn't necessarily trying to get pregnant. This happened as a total surprise and biologically was something I was able to do."
Miller is also mum to Marlowe, 10, who she welcomed with her ex partner, actor Tom Sturridge.
2023 - Halle Bailey and DDG
The star of the Little Mermaid kept everyone guessing by never officially confirming her pregnancy... until, that is, she announced she'd become a mother to a baby boy named Halo at the very end of 2023. How sweet!
"Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️."
Her boyfriend, rapper DDG, shared an equal sweet post about baby Halo too, writing: "my biggest blessing by far 👶🏽❤️ son son.. never been so in love 🥹 baby halo".
2023 - Paris Hilton and Carter Reum
Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum have picked out the most adorable name for their baby daughter. Paris appeared to announce the arrival of her second bundle of joy with a post to Instagram captioned, "Thankful for my baby girl", but that's not all she shared... as the outfit pictured referenced her baby's name: London.
Baby London is the second addition to Paris' growing family, after the US media personality welcomed her son, Phoenix, via surrogacy in January of this year.
Of course, the couple's choice won't come as much of a surprise for fans, as Paris has famously loved the name for years (and she says London is her favourite city), but it doesn't make the news any less sweet. Congratulations to the happy parents!
2023 - Paris and Tyson Fury
Paris and Tyson Fury, whose personal lives have recently been shared with us more than ever in their Netflix series At Home With The Furys, have welcomed their seventh child together. Yep, seven.
The pair welcomed their beautiful baby boy – Prince Rico Paris Fury – on 18 September at 2.29am.
The couple already share Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 10, Prince 'Tutty' Tyson, six, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah Fury, four and Athena, two.
Rico, as he is known, shares the same first name as his brothers, with Tyson previously explaining, "I’m a king and they're princes until they earn their rightful name." Of course, Paris, derives from his mum; he's also named in honour of Tyson’s late cousin, Rico Burton, who was murdered last year.
"All of my kids have got unusual names and obviously it’s also really personal to Tyson," Paris told OK! magazine. "We also added my name because I’ve had seven kids and I still haven’t had one named after me, so Tyson thought, 'Come on, it’s about time!'"
