Any regular viewer of KUWTK will know that the family are all fitness enthusiasts, with eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian being no exception. Taking to Instagram, Kourtney just shared a video of her going HAM on a reformer Pilates machine in her back garden (accompanied by Poosh business parter, Sarah Howard) and we have to say, we're impressed.

In the video, Kourtney can be seen with her legs balanced on a strap and carrying out multiple pull-ups, requiring serious upper body strength, all while making it look an absolute breeze. She also pulls her body up into a bed and slowly releases, again demonstrating core strength.

She captioned the video, "breathing, birds, and bending with @sarahrhoward 😝".

Over on Kourtney's wellness site, POOSH, her trainer, Jesse O'Hara, also detailed a little more about her exercise routine, how she first came to love reformer Pilates during lockdown and revealed that sometimes she'll even do two sessions a day. The seven moves she does to build her glutes were also broken down by O'Hara, too.

The recommended moves for a "rounder booty" are:

  • Side-Lying Leg Extension with Hip Abduction
  • Side-Lying Rainbow Leg Lift
  • Kneeling Hydrant Kickback
  • Kneeling Hydrant Kick
  • Kneeling Leg Circles
  • Quadruped Straight Leg Hip Extension
  • Quadruped Bent Knee Hip Extension

Sharing her tips for maximum success with POOSH too, O'Hara recommends, "Align[ing] all of the movements with your breath, take a full inhale through the nose and exhaling deeply, pulling your belly button in toward your spine."

She also added that it's "important to be aware of your shoulders – imagine sliding your shoulder blades down the back away from your ears" and carrying out the moves on one side of the body, then switching over to the other side. Those who are confident and more advanced can try adding in ankle weights, too.

Everyone's clicking on...

Although it looks like (and can be) a challenging workout, reformer Pilates is also an excellent option for those looking to improve their posture or slowly ease their way back in to working out following an injury.

However, (sadly) because we aren't all multi-millionaires like Kourtney, it's probably unlikely that you also have a reformer Pilates machine just casually hanging out in your house – but come Monday, exercise classes will be able to resume...

Anyone else about to head off and Google 'nearest reformer Pilates class'? No?
