If there's one thing we love to see, it's celebrities calling out body shamers. And, topping today's roundup of icons who've done just that is Alicia Silverstone, best known for her role as Cher Horowitz in the cult classic Clueless, who took to TikTok to throw some major shade (and the middle finger) at online trolls.

After finding a photo of herself on social media that was captioned, "Alicia Silverstone Candid Fat Photo", the 45-year-old took it upon herself to call out the hate. Sharing a video with her 3.8 million followers on TikTok, she showed a screenshot of the caption in question. In the background plays GAYLE's track abcdefu, and with perfect timing, Silverstone pops up to give the middle finger and a smile that serves ~sass~ on sass.

"Damn. I think I look good" she wrote in the caption of the clip, which has since been viewed over 4.1 million times. And, the Clueless star's clapback clearly went down a real treat with fans, who flocked to the comments section to show their support. "I love all of this!" wrote one follower, with another adding "Beautiful inside and out." A third TikToker commented "Wow as if", with a fourth person putting "That was beautifully done."

But, this isn't the first time the nineties icon has called out toxic body shaming. Speaking about the trolling she received during the promo of her 1997 movie Batman & Robin, the actor revealed to The Guardian (in 2020) that she'd been branded "Fatgirl" by the media, describing the experience as "less than favourable".

"They would make fun of my body when I was younger," she said. "It was hurtful but I knew they were wrong. I wasn't confused. I knew that it was not right to make fun of someone's body shape, that doesn't seem like the right thing to be doing to a human."

Still in her early twenties at the time of the criticism, Silverstone said that while she didn't call out the trolls publicly, she tried her best not to let their comments get to her. "I didn't say 'f*** you' and come out like a warrior but I would just walk away and go, 'Okay, I know what that is and I'm done, I'm not going near that again,' " she told the newspaper.

We STAN a legend!
