You can't just magic body confidence (or even body acceptance) out of nowhere. Age-old societal beauty standards continue to exist, haunting anyone who doesn't quite 'fit' for one reason or another. For that reason, it can be important to reinforce messages of positivity and self-love however you can - and an easy way to start is by curating your social media feeds.

Tik Tok, in all its lip-syncing, dancing glory, hosts some brilliantly inspiring women who are about to remind you that you're just great exactly the way you are. If you're ready for a bit of extra body positivity on your daily scroll, why not follow some of these wonder-women...

1. Florence Simpson

20-year-old Flo has spent the last few months documenting her quest to fit back into her jeans - but you'll find no pressurising, weight loss propaganda here. Flo is all about balance, and doing what she's doing because she wants to feel better - not because anyone has told her she should. "No scales and no worries" is Flo's motto, and we can fully get on board with that.

2. Kendra Austin

Curve model Kendra has overflowing confidence, and she knows her worth without a single person having to tell her. It's infectious, so go follow!

3. Ambar Driscoll

Mental health and wellbeing advocate Ambar - who's also got a solid following over on Instagram - is the founder of Bamby Collective, a safe space online for women to talk openly and uplift themselves. So you can bet she's got the same positive vibes going on on her Tik Tok page, which is crammed full of really useful reminders about exactly what's healthy and normal.

4. Nabela Noor

Nabela has a mega following on Tik Tok, and we can see why. Her soothing voice narrates most clips, where she reminds followers to cherish "pockets of peace" and not to be neggy about themselves.

Everyone's clicking on...

5. Sam Paige

You know the phrase 'dance like nobody's watching'? Sam does the opposite: she dances like everybody's watching - and she oozes confidence while she does it. Her Tik Toks will make you realise that every body is beautiful, and that we should be thankful for everything it can do.

6. Lauren Talulah

Lauren - aka Curvy Roamer - is, in her own words, a "plus size gal giving insecurities the middle finger" and we are here for it.

7. Jessica Blair

Come for the cool hair, stay for the reminders that your body is normal - bum, belly, stretch marks and all.

8. Katrina Nichole

Reminder: exercising is for all body types, and Katrina can squat like a queen to prove it.

9. Chloe Elliott

Chloe Elliott, who's also known as Chloe in Curve, is sharing the self-love content over on Tik Tok now as well as Instagram. Full to the brim with sassy responses to hateful trolls, Chloe will remind you just how important confidence in yourself really is.

10. Kristine Thompson

Kristine's Tik Tok page is mostly centred around fashion, but is sprinkled with gems of body positivity that will help banish the deep-set insecurities so many people have relating to the clothes they wear.

11. Abby Russell

Expect model Abby to brighten up your day with her full-of-life Tik Toks, where she dances like she doesn't give a damn, and shares much-needed reminders that we're all just fine the way we are.

12. Rosey Beeme

We love Rosey for many things, but especially for her series 'Characters in film/TV that are supposed to be fat that really aren't that fat'. Every word is a spoken truth (and it's funny AF).
