Other generations do say millennials are self-obsessed, and you know what? They might just be right. Because according to BabyCentre, the next wave of popular baby names are all ones that were big in the 1990s - when we grew up.

And to be fair, why wouldn't you want to give your kid a 90s-inspired name? It was the decade of the Furby, butterfly clips, Mary-Kate and Ashley movies, and - er - the Spice Girls. They were the golden years.

The reason for the upcoming '90s obsession, BabyCentre believes, is in reaction to the previous fascination with giving babies vintage names that were previously popular in the 1920s and 30s. "While these [90s] names may sound over-familiar and even old-fashioned to us 80s and 90s kids, they'll be a breath of fresh air among all the Ivy's and Noah's at nursery and playgroup," the experts wrote.
