The pumpkins have been carved, the fake blood's been scrubbed off, and suddenly your skeleton mani feels a little out of season. But fear not! Spooky season is firmly behind us, and frankly, we're not afraid of commitment… to something sleeker. That is, before the existential dread of Christmas shopping creeps in...

November is that awkward middle child of the year (soz middle children); too cold for coral, too soon for glitter. It's limbo month, where your nails are begging for direction. But that's why it's the perfect time to experiment!

So, whether you're after something quietly chic (hello, milky manis) or craving a little pattern play (we see you, tortie revival), the following looks will carry you through every hot-choc date and office party in style. From glossy burgundies to frosted finishes and even an 80s polka-dot moment, these are the 11 November nail trends to have on your radar.

Tortie nails

According to nail expert and Senior Ambassador at Mylee, Tinu Bello, tortie nails (aka, tortoiseshell) are making a big comeback for autumn/winter 2025. "Tortie nails have become a modern classic, offering a chic alternative to traditional animal prints," Tinu says.

"But, this season, tortie is being worn in two key ways – as a full set for a bold statement, or as an accent paired with solid neutrals, earthy tones, or even French tips for a more understated vibe." Noted!

Alternate vertical or diagonal stripes in navy and olive (the ultimate autumn colour palette) can elongate fingers. Pair with a matte finish for an edgy look or a glossy top coat for prep-to-party.

Strawberry whip caramel

This soft, sweet caramel shade with a pinkish strawberry-whip undertone – courtesy of nail artist Tom Bachik – captures cosy autumn vibes while nodding ahead to winter's rich palette. The colour works beautifully as a feature nail or full set. Not convinced? Well, Tom's clientele includes the one and only Selena Gomez! So, if it's good enough for Sel...

Cosy latte nails

Think soft latte hues warmed up with a hint of brown. The result? An elegant neutral manicure that perfectly bridges autumn and winter. Though, if you want to spice things up a bit, you can add a minimalist gold foil on one or two fingers.

Brown and blue combo

This colour combo takes the expected warm-toned browns and gives them an unexpected cool partner. It's ideal for those who like colour but want something wearable and stylish. Bold yet balanced.

80s polka dots

The playful dotted pattern of the 1980s gets a modern revival in rich tones and glossy finishes. As one comment sums it up: "They look like a pair of tights I’d have worn in the 80s."

Glossy burgundy

A rich burgundy with a high-shine finish is a go-to for November when your manicure needs to feel as luxe as your winter coat. Add a clear gloss topcoat for mirror-like shine or layer a sheer red jelly topcoat to create depth.

Brown tips

If you're still easing into maximalist design, try giving the classic French manicure a seasonal twist by swapping crisp white tips for cocoa-brown ones. Plus, it's fashion-approved, having been spotted on the September Fashion Week runway à la PatBo.

Foliage green

Deep leafy green nails speak to winter's outdoorsy vibe while remaining fashion-forward. We're talking muted olive, moss or evergreen tones. You can wear it as a solid base or add a cracked-stone or feathered gold detail on one nail for a bit of pizzazz. Post-Halloween nails have never looked so good!

Milky manis

Milky white tones and frosted finishes are the fresh-faced mani of the season. I mean, nothing signals the transition into winter more than nails that look like freshly fallen snow and dreamy cashmere layers. Soft and glowing!

Rose water nails

While the rose water nail trend had its moment this summer, we're dubbing it a timeless classic. It's simple, elegant and works for every occasion – autumn/winter included! Those who love the clean girl aesthetic, this one's for you.
