Go bold or go home, right?

As party season fast approaches, it's time we dust off our eyeshadow palettes (or rather, give them a little clean post-festival).

And with it being 2023, we are all getting more experimental with our makeup than ever before; Trying different textures, bright colours, bare skin and the result makes for one hell of a Pinterest inspiration board.

While you might want to go down the more bold crying glitter Rue Bennett from Euphoria route (head straight to NYX Professional's Glitter Goals Cream palette for that), you might want something a little softer, a little more neutral, a little more Cassie Howard. In that case, we have Charlotte Tilbury's Luxury Pops Palette. Four shades of your all-time favourite neutral Pillow Talk shade but in oh-so-shiny glitter formulas.

Or, there's the Róen 75° Eyeshadow Palette that has the power to give anyone the kind of wet look sheen you're used to seeing in your favourite editorial spreads.

Not much of a Euphoria fan and just want an affordable glitter to throw in your clutch bag for your weekend of overpriced cocky T's in London? Well, at just £5, 17's Eye Shadow Glitter Palette means you don't have to worry about it getting lost on that unexpected bar crawl and the cream formula means you can pack your clutch even lighter as no glitter primer is required.

Basically, whatever your preference and price we have found the ultimate glitter palette for you.

Rock Shine on.

If ever a palette were to scream celebrations, it would be this one. The full-coverage, buttery pigments mixed with their iridescent glitter formulas are just so party szn-coded. As the old adage goes: the party don’t start til you walk in.

And yes, while it may be on the pricier side (payday, we're waiting for ya), we promise, it's worth every single penny. I mean, the gorg packaging alone is one to swoon over!

Yes, glitter can be a neutral as Charlotte Tilbury proves with her Luxury Palette of Pops.

I won't say it's glitter for grown-ups because why shouldn't glitter be for everyone, but I will say it's the option for you less colourful people.

All 4 shades are suitably eye-enhancing and can be layered depending on the intensity you are craving.

MAKEUP BY MARIO Master Metals Palette 1.5g

First of all, I know this isn't an eyeshadow palette, but, I figured if that's what you're looking for, you should know about this option by Makeup by Mario as well.

Mario's Master Metals palette contains 5 stunning metallic shades that you can use dry, but for an intense pure metallic finish, I recommend using wet.

You can either spritz your brush with water, or like I do, use his Master Manipulator.

Now, I actually prefer this to a glitter shadow as it doesn't crease, it lasts longer and for me, there's something a little cooler about one wash of metal all over the lid.

Makeup Revolution Pressed Glitter Eyeshadow Palette 9 x 1.2g - Abracadabra

Pressed Glitter Eyeshadow Palette 9 x 1.2g - Abracadabra

I get it. Glitter isn't an everyday option for everyone, so if you only want a one-night stand with the sparkly stuff, you don't want to spend a fortune.

Revolutions's compact offering means you can get nine cream glitters for under a tenner. Meaning now you have no excuse for not getting into the disco ball spirit...

17 Eye Shadow Glitter Palette

Back in 2018, we were heartbroken when Boots announced that it was closing their iconic 17 makeup brand.

Four years later and 17 is back and at just £5, this palette will give you your glitter fix without maxing out your overdraft.

My favourite thing about this palette though? How inclusive the 9 earthy-toned shades are. This is a colour story that will look beautiful on multiple skin tones.

While they may not be a brand on your radar, Beauty Bay's own collection features a palette worth your time (and coin).

Working out at just £1.68 per pan (just call me a maths genius) the 42 shades deliver in range – from bold pops of colour to pigmented shimmers, you can now glisten bright like a Xmas bauble.

PAT MCGRATH LABS Celestial Divinity Luxe Quad eyeshadow palette

In my opinion, it's a right of passage that everyone should own a Pat McGrath palette and these smaller quads make that a little bit more accessible.

Each of these 4 shades has a slightly different finish ranging from glitter to matte and that pop of blue transforms this from all the other neutral palettes in your collection.

Bold? Yes. Incredible? Also yes.

Natasha Denona's Circo Loco palette is not for the faint of heart (or the hard of pocket) but when you see the fuchsia pink glitter shade called "Razzle Dazzle" your heart is sure to miss a beat.

Renowned for having one of the best eyeshadow formulas in the industry (and the most unique colour stories), Natasha's palettes are the most covetable.

RÓEN 75° Warm Eyeshadow Palette

75° Warm Eyeshadow Palette

The bright shades are coming I promise, but not enough people know about Róen, so I feel it's my mission to fill you in.

Founded by celebrity makeup artist Nikki DeRoest (who has since parted ways with the brand), Róen's foil eyeshadow formula is pure editorial glamour.

In keeping with their effortless vibe, these creamy shades work best when applied to your lid directly with your fingers.

The result is wet look glitter in one swipe.
