Need a little last minute halloween makeup inspiration? We got you. Yup, this is the easiest, quickest mermaid makeup tutorial, ever. It's totally foolproof.

Now, let us break it down for you...

1. Prep your lids with any nude eyeshadow, before shading the inner and outer corner with Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Dive Bar, £14.

2. Line eyes with a blue shimmery eye pencil. Then apply Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Vortex, £14, to the centre of lids, and finish with a dusting of glitter.

3. Paint the lower lids with Urban Decay's Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Map, £14. Then give lashes a coat of mascara.

4. Shade the temple and cheekbone with a blue shimmer eyeshadow, we used Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Peace, £14. Then layer green shimmer over the top, we used Vortex, £14.

5. Use a stencil and the same green and blue eyeshadows to create a scale effect over your cheek and temple.

6. Add glitter to the inner corner of eyes and the cheeks.

7. Finish with a blue lipstick like Urban Decay's Vice Lipstick in Heroine, £15.
