If you're not channeling a specific character for Halloween, try this party makeup that's totally wearable for everyone. We booked beauty service The Glam App, to teach us how to create a vampy eye and lip look that's as sexy as it is spooky. Here goes:
Eyes step 1:
Use a fluffy eye shadow brush to sweep a mid-blue shadow onto the eyelids and buff it up into crease. (We used MAC Chromaline in Marine Ultra)
Eyes step 2:
Add depth by applying a metallic blue on top, and a darker shade on the outer corners of the eyelids. This will make it look multidimensional. (We used MAC eye shadow powders in Fresh Water and Deep Truth)
Eyes step 3:
Define your upper lash lines with some black liquid eyeliner. If you want extra staying power, apply a line of black eye shadow first.
Eyes step 4:
Use two kohl eyeliners for the lower lash lines. Apply a black to the waterline and along the lash line, then layer with a blue pencil (we used MAC Chromaline pencil in Marine Ultra) underneath.
Eyes step 5:
To exaggerate the inner and outer corners of the eyes for a more spooky effect, apply a pale grey eye shadow to the corners of the sockets.
Eyes step 6:
Finally, apply some loose glitter to the tear duct area for some party sparkle.
Lips step 1:
Use a deep wine coloured lip liner to fill in your lips completely. This will help your lippy last all night. (We used MAC Lip Pencil in Bespoken For)
Lips step 2:
Paint your lipstick on top in a similar shade (we used MAC Lipstick in Rebel) and finish with some clear gloss for 3D glamour.
The finished look:
