13 bridal hair accessories to wear on your big day

Bc it’s not all about the ring...

By and

Peak wedding season is nearly upon us, so, whether you’re about to get hitched, part of the bridal squad or just in it for the photo ops (no bc same), we've gotchu covered.

While organising the dream dress and fairy tale venue comes high up on the prio list, we (the Cosmo beauty team) know just how tricky it can be to choose your wedding hair – after all, this is the day where you want to feel your best. And no matter your bridal aesthetic, you should always consider how you're going to accessorise, whether that's with a hint of sparkle, pretty bow or whimsical clip.

With so many ways to be inspired, from social media to the catwalk, finding the perfect piece to complement your hair can feel a tad overwhelming. Here, we’ve carefully searched the net to bring you some of our favourite bridal hair accessories that’ll transform your locks for the main event – because when else can you wear a full head of pearls?

Traditional and romantic brides may opt for an embellished comb to slide into an up-do, while the modern minimalist may jump onto the hair cuff trend (fyi, our choice has been given a bridal twist). If you're a boho bride, there's a lace scrunchie with your name on, while those opting for a civil ceremony will find something that's playful but still says bridal. Lastly, if you would rather let your tresses hang free, fear not because most – if not all – of the below can be worn pre- or post-ceremony. That's right, we've thought about it all.

Ivory scrunchies, crystal combs and ribbon claw clips will be your BFF, bb. You can thank us later...
