If you've been put off getting a bob because they're such hard work, I have to admit, you're not entirely wrong. As someone who took the chop and entered their bob era recently, they can require a bit of effort – whether that's frequent trims to keep them in shape or a little more time spent styling in the morning (FYI: the Shark FlexStyle has been a saviour for me!) We'd be remiss if we didn't start this hairspiration round-up with Sofia Richie Grainge herself. The 27-year-old traded in her usual middle-part to achieve her undone bob look, instead opting for a sweeping yet totally effortless side-part. She didn't stray from her go-to (and super low-maintenance) ombre strands, though. Roots? Never heard of them.
The just-rolled-out-of-bed undone bob
Gracie Abrams is the epitome of 'cool girl' with this dishevelled yet enviable look, styled by Bobby Eliot. The choppy lengths and untamed flyaways come together in a tousled but not-trying-too-hard way.
The mini-braids undone bob
Thought you can't have braids with a bob? Think again. This shoulder-length bob with micro-braids at the root proves you can achieve just that. We also love the slightly longer strands that effortlessly frame the face without being over-stylised.
