It's true what they say, what goes around comes riiiight back around. Here's a bunch of products that made a name for themselves back in the 90s. Some are making a welcome come back, while others definitely need to stay in the past…
Body spray
Now body spray is something we'll happily welcome into the present day. Does anybody else miss having to decide between Charlie Red and Charlie Pink, and then spraying every inch of their being? No? Just us then. We're kind of wishing Impulse would bring back those special edition Spice Girls cans for 2014, but instead Tom Ford is launching his Neroli Portofino in an 'all over body spray' – things just got classy!

Thin eyebrows
Oh GOD. Thin eyebrows need never happen ever again. Whoever it was that decided everybody should pluck their 'brows to within an inch of their life is a terrible person. Not even Drew Barrymore can pull of barely-there brows and that's saying something. We'll just thank Cara Delevingne for being born and hope that while she's in our lives, history will never repeat itself.

Sun-In
No '90s feature would be complete without an honorary mention of Sun-In, would it? The dreamy spray that magically made hair blonder when it was exposed to the sun. And the good news? Schwarzkopf are launching two brand new lightening sprays later in the year that promise to lighten by up to six or eight levels. Yay! Welcome back, natural looking blonde hair (definitely NOT yellow...)

Defintely a welcome reappearance from the '90s – they basically took over the catwalks last year and that's absolutely fine by us. Trendy hair even on the laziest of days, what's not to love? Although we'll maybe skip the whole pineapple look, ala Paula Abdul, and just stick to a topknot. Probably for the best…

Heather Shimmer and brown lip liner
A favourite of a teenage Kate Moss, Rimmel's Heather Shimmer was the HEIGHT of fashwan back when Take That were just starting out (baby Robbie and baby Gary, aw!). Worn with brown eye pencil as lip liner, it definitely wasn't a good look for anybody, nope, not even you Jen. But in the words of our Beauty Director, "I guess looking drab was the height of style back then."

Glittery lipstick
We love glitter as much as the next magazine, but we're glad that those glittery lipsticks (that were a nightmare to actually get on) haven't been reborn. Remember that awful phase of BLUE glitter lipsticks too? The less said about that situation the better.

Frosted eyeshadow
WOW, what exactly was the world thinking when frosty-looking eyeshadow became a thing? Here's looking at you, Xtina, with your silver, pink and er, blue eyes. White eyeshadow was also rather popular, and it looks like it's making a 2014-style comeback in the form of white eyeliner. We say that's sightly more acceptable, but eyeshadow painted all the way up to the eyebrow in slightly-metallic-but-not-quite shades? No way, Jose.

Body glitter
What was better than using a deodorant style roll-on that was packed full of glitter all over your body? Probably nothing. Even better if it had a hint of perfume in there too! Now, we're not saying there's anything wrong with adding a highlight, or even a slight SHIMMER to your décolletage but going all out with actual pieces of hexagonal glitter? Not so much, but still, bringing back good memories, eh Britney?

Hair mascara
We imagine that if hair mascara were to make a 21st century comeback, it'd be a million times greater than the stuff we were subjected to back in the day. We've said it before, but we'll say it again, the expectation vs. reality of those magic wands was MAJOR. If only hair chalk was a thing back then, life would have been oh-so-different.
