Black Friday is the annual shopping extravaganza that originated in the USA, taking place the day after Thanksgiving. From turkey to tills, shoppers have been known to queue from the early hours to snag bargains on homeware, beauty, fashion and so much more. Now a global event, Black Friday sees retailers slashing prices and offering unmissable deals worldwide.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday falls on the last Friday in November, the day after Thanksgiving. This year, it’s happening on Friday, 29 November. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too long, most retailers start offering mega deals and sales in the lead-up to Black Friday, continuing through to Cyber Monday on 2 December 2024. That means plenty of opportunities to grab a bargain or two.
