In recent years, Pamela Anderson has been making headlines – not for bold makeup or high-glam looks, but for quietly championing the art of doing less. And most recently, the 58-year-old icon shared her updated pared-down, makeup-free beauty regime, a gentle but powerful reminder that simplicity can be the transformative secret to healthy, glowing skin. Take note, folks.
Just short of 24 hours ago, Pam shared a short video on Instagram walking us through her everyday skincare routine. She uses products from Sonsie Skin, a brand Pamela joined as co-founder and owner in January 2024.
As she shows, her routine centres around three (yep, just three!) core essentials: a foaming cleansing mousse to gently cleanse the skin without overdrying; a daily hydrating serum to add moisture and a dewy glow to the skin; and a trusty lip balm to smooth lips and leave a subtle shine.
The takeaway? Less is more!
There are multiple reasons for streamlining your skincare routine, but the main one (aside from saving £££ on fewer products... kerching!) is that it reduces the risk of irritation by limiting the number of active ingredients your skin is exposed to. Plus, fewer steps also make it easier to identify which products are actually working for your skin. This way, you're more likely to support your skin's natural barrier rather than overwhelming or damaging it.
So, Pam really do be onto something!
Ultimately, a streamlined routine can be just as effective – if not more – than a lengthy one, especially when built around high-quality essentials. And high-quality essentials Sonsie products certainly are!
