A few years ago, Pamela Anderson broke the internet (soz Kim K) with an admission: she was no longer to get glam. (That involved avoiding having her hair and makeup done, for the most part.) Now, however, she's only gone and returned to the glamour with an OTT hairstyle inspired by 1950s Old Hollywood. Enter: the flippy bob.

Last week [17 July], Pamela was spotted out and about in New York City and although makeup-free, her hair has been heavily styled into a bob with barrel-shaped, flipped-out ends. The chin-length 'do is defined by bounce, volume and, just like Marilyn Monroe had, a side parting.

Oh, and to capitalise on the drama of this look, Pam even had an outfit change. First, she stepped out wearing a striking royal blue set consisting of a tie-neck blouse and pencil skirt, and then, she wore a boat-neck long sleeve top paired with a turquoise embellished skirt.

Of course, to nail this perfectly coiffed look, Pamela's hairstylist would have used an abundance of styling products; we're talking everything from a heated tong or blow-dry brush to strong-hold spray. So, if you, too, want to recreate the bouncy bob, look no further than your toolkit below.

As Pam shows, there's more to glamour than just makeup. Time to take a hairstyling 101 crash course...
