The 2025 Met Gala has finally arrived with celebrity looks upon looks inundating our social media feeds – and you best believe that we're admiring, deconstructing and ranking every single one of 'em! The best of the night? Well, in my humble opinion (she says, sitting in her trackies from the comfort of her sofa), it was Nicole Kidman. I mean, she did cut all of her hair off in favour of a super short pixie cut!

Overnight at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the 57-year-old actor stole the show, stepping out onto the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" themed red carpet with a dramatic haircut. She went from chest-length blonde tresses to a head-hugging pixie crop.

But to really gauge how big of a transformation this really was, here's a look at her hair before [February 2025]:

And now, the after:

Not only is the cut a shocker, but would you just look at that side-sweeping fringed style and blended shadow root, too?! One word: Wow.

Now, I'm no pessimist, but with all that said, we must speculate that Nicole's dramatic new 'do may, in fact, be a wig. If she rocks up to the 'Gram with butt-skimming locks by the end of today, don't say I didn't warn ya!

Everyone's clicking on...

Nevertheless, wig or not, this 'do certainly takes the crown as the number one beauty look of the 2025 Met Gala, wouldn't you agree?
