As one of the highest-paid models in the world (subtle flex), Gisele Bündchen is, arguably, best known for her good looks; her height, impeccable bone structure and of course, long golden hair. So, when carrying out my daily Instagram scroll, it was to my surprise that Gisele had ditched her trademark locks and replaced them with a chin-length bouffant bob. I'm talking unrecognisable, folks.
Over the weekend, Gisele shared a four-part IG carousel post in honour of her latest fashion campaign with Zara. "Was so fun to play Monica Vitti for the lens of my dear friend Steven Meisel for the special @stefanopilati collection for @zara 📸," she wrote in the caption.
And while the clothes were a statement and a half, natch, what initially piqued our interest was how unrecognisable the model looked with a dramatically shorter haircut.
Not only is the length a sought-after look RN – everyone from Victoria Beckham to Camila Cabello and even Maya Jama have sported the bob cut in recent months – but so is the extra voluminous style.
I mean, would you look at those layers and that texture?! Not to mention the peroxide blonde colour! (Because yes, even though the images are in black and white, our eagle Cosmo celeb beauty eyes can spot a colour change no matter the circumstance...)
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The bob is one of the chicest hairstyles out there, plus, it's super easy to maintain. So, why not join me (and Gisele) and jump onto the bob brigade for autumn 2024?
