Like many in the public eye, for years, Ariana Grande has been subject to rumours of plastic surgery. Has she or hasn't she? Well, today, the singer-cum-actor-cum-beauty mogul (there's nothing she can't do) reveals all in a candid lie detector video. There's no escaping this one, Ari!
Alongside her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, Ariana appeared in a recent Vanity Fair lie detector franchise video. In the 21-minute-long YouTube vid, the pair took turns asking each other some of the public's most-asked questions and in doing so, put some rumours to rest. Among those asked, there was one question which gained (and is continuing to gain) a lot of traction on social media; "Did you ever get any work done to make yourself feel more popular?" Cynthia asks Ari.
Shocked, Ariana responds: "To my face? To physical appearance?"
Confirming, Cynthia follows up with another question. "Did you get your nose done?" she asks. To which Ariana bluntly states: "No."
"Did you get a boob job?" questions Cynthia.
"No! Could you imagine?!" responds Ariana.
Everyone's clicking on...
"Did you get a face lift?"
"No, not yet... I'm open!"
"Truthful," the lie detector deems. "She's telling the truth." And there we have it! It's giving The Jeremy Kyle show... sans-problematics.
"This is the best day of my life! Take that you YouTube people," Ari hilariously says in an overdue clap back to the conspiracy theorists.
But that's not all because Cynthia continues, with a string of follow-up questions.
"Did you get a fox eye lift?" she asks.
"No! But I discovered it through people who thought I did, and I said 'thank you'." Ari says
"She's telling the truth," the lie detector lady, Stephanie says.
"What about a chin implant?"
"How do they do that?" Ariana responds worryingly. "No!"
Getting candid, Ariana addresses the reason why people may think her appearance has changed. "I've had fillers in various places and botox but I stopped like four years ago and that is the extent. But also, like, in full support of all people who do these things! Werk. Whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed! Why do people care?"
And to that, we couldn't agree more. Snaps for Ariana for being so transparent. You do you, boo!
