The category is: 'family resemblance' and today, it's two unlikely celebrities bearing such similarities. Sabrina Carpenter and Christina Aguilera – who bear no bloodline relation, may I add – look more like a mother-daughter duo than I do with my own birth-giver (soz, mum).

Just short of 24 hours ago, Sabrina and Xtina collaborated on an iconic Instagram video reel, proving that they're the dynamic duo we never knew we needed. In the post, the pair are shown to be lip-syncing to an infamous audio clip of Kylie Jenner taken from The Kardashians TV show.

Sabrina lip-syncs, saying "I'm obsessed with my mum," before turning the camera to Christina.

"So you're saying you're her favourite?" a producer asks in the original audio clip, to which Kylie responds (and Sabrina lip syncs): "That's exactly what I'm saying."

As funny as this is, we really do think that the singers look alike. Whether it be twins, sisters or a mother-daughter relationship, someone's parents have some explaining to do... Because we refuse to believe that these blonde bombshells are unrelated! As one fan puts it in the comments section of the post: "dreams do come true💕 mom & daughter."

Beauty aside, friends and fans of both stars have taken to the comments section to also speculate about the crossover. Could we be streaming a music collaboration very soon? One can only hope... hint, hint, ladies.
