Think of Simone Ashley and you'll no doubt picture swathes of tumbling, loose dark curls. Yep, there are few celebrity manes we envy as much as we do Simone's. And, the fact that her hair looks just as good styled in a pin-straight glass hair 'do as its natural waves only adds to our jealousy.
But, we may have finally come across a hair rival. Scrolling Instagram this morning (ya know, as we all do), we stumbled across Simone's story which featured a series of photos with her gorgeous natural hair on full display. However, one snap in particular caught our attention.
Posing for the camera with her pet dog, Myla, clutched in her arms, we couldn't not notice the similarity between Simone and her pooch with the two sporting very similar hairstyles. Simone's trademark long silky dark hair was worn down in loose waves, just like Myla's super shiny ears. Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised – after all, they *do* say dogs often look like their own owners.
Fans will no doubt be familiar with Simone's pup, Myla. The gorgeous cocker spaniel regularly features on the actress' Instagram feed and stories alike, since she first brought her home as a puppy back in 2017.
The duo's latest adventure seems to be a lake-side picnic with the snaps captured in the most scenic, picturesque setting with blue skies and lush greenery in the background.
And, aside from admiring both Simone and Myla's hair (or make that ears), we're also big fans of Simone's bikini for the occasion. Her two-piece features a black floral beaded design, the string straps of which were threaded with yet more beads in a shade of milky white. She added black cat-eye sunglasses and silver hoop earrings to complete the look.
Everyone's clicking on...
Add a puppy picnic followed by a lake swim to the top of our “things we wish we were doing today” list. And if we can have hair as effortlessly touselled as Simone OR Myla, we'll be very very happy.
