Cosmo cover girl and absolute it girl of the entire world, Tyla just swapped her curls and braids for a spikey Kris Jenner pixie cut with a serious edge and we are absolutely obsessed with the pictures. Obsessed.

Is there literally no style this girl cannot pull off? We've been obsessed with the 22-year-old South African star for a while now, and we have never seen her with hair like this before.

The jet-black cropped style is shiny, spikey, slicked and it's giving 90s football icon (or maybe that's just the press conference setting), cross with movie leading lady, cross with supermodel.

While the comments were mostly filled with people dying at how hot she is, and praising the new hair with comments like; "This hair on you! 😍" and "The short hair is FYEEEE, girl!" There was another theme popping up among the thirsting and adoration.

People were saying that with the pixie cut she's channelling the Oscar-winning icon that is Halle Berry:

"So fire. This reminds me of 90s Halle Berry 🔥"

Everyone's clicking on...

"It’s giving Halle Berry 😍"

"The Halle berry of our generation"

While it's not a crazy resemblance they do share certain qualities; the elfin face shape, the golden brown skin, the pixie cut, the perfect bodies... oh and just all around being ridiculously hot.

We've seen pixie cuts trending this year and donned by celebs from Anne Hathaway's androgynous chop, to Zendaya's hybrid bob pixie, and even Kylie Jenner copying her mum, the pixie icon Kris Jenner. We reckon there's plenty more to come.
