By now, I'm sure we've all seen, heard and dwindled over Harry Styles' new haircut. I mean, over the last few weeks, the singer's fresh buzzcut hit not only headlines but social media, too and fans had a lot to say about it (see further below).

Now, whether you're pro-sans-locks or still a tad unsure about Harry's seemingly new hairstyle era, I'm sure we can all agree that when commenting on one's looks, there's no room for trolling – famous or not. One person coming to Harry's defence after a select few social media users took comments too far is his mum, Anne Twist.

Over the weekend, Anne posted a picture of Harry's new look on her Instagram page with a caption clapping back at said users.

"When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are … there’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut. Sorry but I don’t get it 🤷🏻‍♀️#TPWK," she wrote.

Snaps for Anne, pls.

But in case you missed the uproar (particularly on X, previously known as Twitter), see a select few posts below from when fans had been speculating over whether or not the One Direction alum had shaved his head.

Everyone's clicking on...

While I'm sure most (if not all) were shared in jest, there's no love like a mother's. So, can we blame Anne?
